West Covina Nuggets Fantasy Writeups

Late Round Sleepers

Draft Recap/Week 1

Plug Time! My bro and I have website. I want to post my write-ups there. Would you guys be willing to log on to our site to read this? The site is pretty slow but not unreasonable. It could help us get some traffic. Keep in mind if you vote Yes the write-ups won’t be posted here, just a link to our site. C’mon guys that’s not hard, help us out!! Please vote in the poll!

There won’t be a preview of Week 1 just a review of the draft. At this point there are no big matchups as we all are tied. The draft party was a lot of fun! The 5 of you that missed it, missed out. I think 7 was our best turnout so thanks to all who attended! This draft really showed how much different our League is than a normal fantasy league. Most League’s overdraft RB’s as well all know. Having done some 30 or so mock-drafts preparing for our draft I can say I think we have it right! I had 3 different strategies depending on who you guys picked. All strategies were shot by my 2nd pick. Props to you all for that. Here is my analysis on our draft.

Cracka2Hi The Empire - It’s hard for me to grade my own team. I’m not going to lie. I expect to win every season. This season is no different. I wore my LaVonte David jersey to the draft so it was only fitting that I end up with the Bucs D!

JP 33Cent – This seems like a normal 33Cent draft. Solid, probably not good enough to win it all. Cent did have great picks in Luck, Charles and Bryant. Spiller, Pitta, Colston and especially Harvin are questionable but have high upside. If he hits on those picks he will be in the running for his 2nd Artest.

Bluffwood Chinchillas – Interesting draft for BTG. Getting Brees at pick #6 was a safe and effective pick. The RB/WR corps seems weak with; Tate, Jackson, Wayne, Cooper, Rice, Dougals and Blount. There just doesn’t seem to be enough #1 options or sleepers in that group. Rice is a potential sleeper but BTG will have to wait unit week 3 to find out. Gronk is obviously the wildcard. The Seahawks D and Maurice Jones-Drew will probably prove to be The Chinchillas best picks. BTG has won an Artest and you can’t count him out this or any year.

Lepper Ethan Madden – There are differing opinions as to who actually drafted this team. The 7 GM’s who attended the draft could not tell if Lizard or his wife drafted this team. We hope if we keep calling him out he might show up! Either way there were a lot of Lions and questionable picks here. This team needs to find a way to upgrade their RB corps.

Nieve World Peace – Peace once again has the look of a team that will be competitive but miss the playoffs. There is plenty to like about Nieve’s draft but Reed, Richardson and Lion’s D will probably keep this team on the outside looking in. It’s hard to say where the team needs to improve because they are solid. It just seems like they are 1 player away.

Folsom Goodness – The defending Champ decided to go with the same strategy that got him there. AUTO-DRAFT!! Will it work again? Possibly. Do I respect it? Not so much.

Super Ducks – The team formally known as Brady looks to have had a decent draft. It certainly isn’t spectacular but is loaded at WR and RB. If Rivers plays the way he normally does this team should be stacked. The Ducks did provide for one of the funniest moments at the draft party. The pick of the Rams Defense was a bit puzzling leading us to wonder if the Super Ducks GM knew the Rams had cut Michael Sam.

AC Slater – The back to back Artest and Depodesta winners respectively should be solid this season. Shoring up the QB position right away with Rodgers was smart in this League. They managed to put together a solid RB/WR corps despite picking a QB in round 1. The team looks especially deep at WR but could use another RB.

Compton Mike Jones – Another Solid Draft. Is Nick Dogg no longer the laughing stock of the league? Maybe not on paper. This team is lacking RB’s but probably has enough at other positions to get by. Nick Dogg did provide for his usual draft party moment by selecting James Jones when time ran out him. In Nick Dogg’s defense James Jones does play in the league and may even put up some fantasy points. He’s actually a decent pick considering Nick Dogg’s track record of throwing away at least 1 pick per draft.

Wooo Broncos! – Big Kev looks like a contender again. He likes to pick Broncos much like Lizard likes to pick Lions. It works out a little better when you are picking Broncos I guess. I’m also not sold on this teams RB corps. I guess that is a common theme this season. Lynch, Thomas and Killer Cam should make this team competitive.

Brass Nucks – I had an interesting prospective sitting next to this GM at the draft and seeing the thought process behind some of his moves. It has me convinced that this GM should probably do some mock drafts to get more value out of his picks. Frank Gore isn’t a bad player, just a bad value in Round 2 and certainly available in Round 4. This team did get Peyton Manning who will likely be the Points Leader so they should compete. Despite the criticism Nucks had a solid draft.

San Diego Spartans – Herk couldn’t make the draft because he was in the middle of the Ocean somewhere doing something to help protect our Country. A lot more respectable reason for missing the draft than our Champ. Another auto-drafted team with a solid GM that should compete.

Week 1, a Bleeping TIE!...?

Upon further review that's a loss for me. Nice win JP, about time you start a season 1-0! I've decided I'll keep posting the writeups here. I'm going to move them to our site after the week. I'm also going to write articles about fantasy in general. I posted one on Wednesday, here's the link. Check us out!

http://www.lateroundsleepers.com/#!You’re-best-chance-to-correct-a-bad-draft-Week-2/c137b/F770901B-F539-4583-8232-3AB1AF2F8BE5

In our return to glory the game of the week was pretty obvious for a few of us. I'm not sure I've ever seen a fantasy game chat board with more activity. Anyone that was there knows what I'm talking about. JP 33 Cent and Cracka2Hi The Empire went down to the wire and it was a battle of the...yea it was a tie. We'll see if the tie holds up but either way that was an Fn awesome game to wrap up week 1. JP was put in a bad position having to root for his NFL team or fantasy team. The best he got was a tie.

The high score in Week 1 was Lepper Ethan Madden. That is a mild surprise. Some of it looks like luck but L.E.M(wasn't there a band?) has a chance to prove it wasn't a fluke against 33 Cent in Week 2. This game is also a chance for 33 Cent to get more than just a tie. When these 2 get together you know it's going to be the poo pushing game of the week!

The Pipe looks to be hard once again. Uhh, I mean Wooo Broncos! looks to be a contender securing the 2nd highest score in Week 1 with 119.5 points. They play another perennial powerhouse Super Ducks, formally Team Brady, in Week2. This game is the early game of the week. No poo involved.

From the middle of the sea San Diego Spartans got a win out of the gate over Bluffwood Chinchillas. The Chinchillas will try to right the ship against The Empire. The Spartans will look to say undefeated against Nieve World Peace who fell short against Wooo Broncos in Week 1. Peace will look to avoid Atlantic City hotel elevators. The Chinchillas have a roster spot to fill because of them.

Compton Mike Jones beat reigning champ Folsum Goodness and plays former champ AC Slater. Slater is also 0-1 after losing to the Ducks. AC hopes his plan to beat Nick Dogg is better than Zach Morris' plan to take over Bayside. That Nick Dogg beating back to back Artest winners is a feat that may have yet to be accomplished. Folsum straps it up against Brass Nucks. I don't have high hopes for the loser of that game.

Week 3 Brings us Only 2 Undefeated Teams!

We’re at it again! After 2 weeks, there are only 2 teams 2 games back of 1st place. There is a lot of parity in this league for sure. I don’t write that all the time because it’s not true. There were a couple games that looked big in Week 2. Wooo Broncos edged out Super Ducks in a game of the week that like normal did not live up to expectations. That’s one thing this league is consistent on. The good matchups almost never turn into good games. Oh well. Watcha gonna do brotha! It is also worth noting that JP 33 Cent climbed the mountain top of 2-0! It’s groovy seeing former Artest winner JP back atop the standings. I don’t think it makes sense to make a game of the week for Week 3. Why jinx that game? There really aren’t any teams doing much worse than others. Every game is big at this point of the season. I know I’ll feel a lot better if Cracka 2 HI The Empire can get a W over Lepper Ethan Madden. This is a big game between the 1st and 3rd scoring teams. Both teams already have a loss. Folsum Goodness vs JP 33 Cent should be a good game if Folsum picks a QB. I’m not sure he will. JP could be looking at a gift 3-0. Undefeated Wooo Broncos is facing the always newsworthy Compton Mike Jones. That Nick Dogg really needs a win here. When shit starts to go wrong for TND the shit starts moving downhill at a high rate of speed. Is a 2nd straight loss in the cards for TND? Is Nick Dogg back to his losing ways? Du nu nu nu nu! Bluffwood is playing Nieve this week. The Chincillas RB’s look like the kind of talent you could find at local food bank or homeless shelter. Straight off the streets homie! Nieve Rice Peterson, uhh I mean Nieve World Peace is looking to strike first! BTG better be looking out for that switch! From the middle of the ocean Herk and San Diego Spartans are devastated over what is happening with Adrian Peterson…expect he probably doesn’t even know yet. Super Ducks are devastated because…eh their team really doesn’t look that good this year. The winner of this game will be sitting at 2-1 and be lucky to be there. AC Slater looks like strong like Mario Lopez on dancing with the stars. Brass Nucks looks to be Peyton Manning and uh, yea. Nucks team does have some good players, they need to produce him a win. Both teams have a lot of injuries. These 2 GM’s battled it out for the Depodesta last season. Nucks may need a win here to avoid being on the road back. #straightfire

Week 4 Brings Bye Weeks and Snitches get Switches!

It's a lot more fun writing about our league than the actual NFL. It takes hella long to fix all my errors lol. As you all know bye weeks start this week. Will our league be prepared for it? I know I am! For this week anyway. If you have key players on bye's check out my article. I cover what you need to do and will continue to do so each week. Now that the business is out of the way on to the fun stuff. The games!

There are a few games worth noting from Week 3. Wooo Broncos! and JP 33 Cent stayed undefeated, however the Pipe looked far more impressive. Nieve World Peace put a whooping on Bluffwood Chinchillas as predicted here. Left him with a mouth full of leaves. Cracka2Hi The Empire edged out Lepper Ethan Madden in a rather lethargic game. The most exciting game of the week was easily AC Slater squeaking by Brass Nucks. There was about as much room between these 2 teams as there is in AC's pink life guard shorts. Slater gets the 87-86.5 victory. It's been a tough season for Nucks. This loss has to feel like a slap in the nuts for Brass.

Unlike most seasons we might start to see some separation early. Wooo Broncos! has a chance to bury Brass Nucks this week. Nucks can't catch a break. You would think it's a good week to get some Pipe with Lynch and Thomas on bye weeks. Nope. Half Nucks team are either injured or on bye weeks. This actually looks like a competitive game on paper. Bluffwood could also find themselves 0-4 facing a Super Ducks team coming off their best week. This too has the look of a good game between teams dealing with bye weeks. BTG and Ed really need to get wins this week to stay alive. I could see either team getting a win and possibly turning their season's around.

We also have 2 battles of teams that are 1-2. Lepper Ethan Madden is playing Folsum Goodness and San Diego Spartans are playing Compton Mike Jones. We're going to have 4 teams sitting at 1-3 at best after Week 4. It may take more wins to make the playoffs than normal. The losers of these games will have a long road to hoe. The game of the week is a battle of former Artest winners who look to have returned to prominence. 2-1 AC Slater meets 3-0 JP 33 Cent. AC needs this game more than Cent. The early projection has Cent winning big. Keep an eye on the WR situation for both teams. Looks like a lot of the dreaded game time decisions.

There is a game this week between 2 GM's that are quietly friendly rivals behind the scenes. Both GM's are artists, athletes, gentlemen, scholars, steadfast, swift, brave and patriots. You might find them hanging out near a local Jr. High, mall or Chuck E Cheese scouting future talent. They know that Girl Scout Cookie season is when the real future superstars come out. When these GM's play golf there is usually at least 20 virgins on the line. Sometimes many more, rarely less. Whenever they compete it's like The Battle of Yorktown. Oh and it's Nieve vs c2h!

The Real Nick Dogg is Back! The Pipe is Exposed.

Week 4 was the most exciting week so far this season in the West Covina Nuggets fantasy football league. My favorite thing about this league is rapidly becoming the Monday Night game. It seems just about every week there are around 5 of us posted up in front of our cpu’s typing on the Smak Board of a down to the wire barnburner! It’s almost like we’re watching the game together. Except we’re not. Man, imagine if we had all this shit when we were kids! Remember our computers? Oregon Trail and Carmen San Diego and shit. Can you imagine doing a fantasy draft on your pager? Me either. I digress, back to the games.

There were 2 down to the wire barnburners Week 4. The Pipe was exposed by Brass Nucks but the lead story is without a doubt is that Nick Dogg. As we all know the Nick Dogg is always in the news around these here parts. He has garnered more negative press in this league than everyone else combined. A strange thing happened around this time last season. Nick Dogg started winning and Compton Mike Jones was able to ride a wave of success all the way into the playoffs.

Nick Dogg of course would ultimately fail but it’s not like he accomplished nothing. Then another strange thing happened. Nick Dogg had a pretty good draft. However after squeaking out a win with a pathetic 74 points in Week 1, he followed it up with 2 losses. That brings us to Week 4 with Nick Dogg sitting at 1-2. A Nick Dogg loss and a return to the abomination that is the Nick Dogg was suggested here last week. So I get a text last Thursday;

Nick Dogg: Cuh, I think I should I play Eli over Brady this week. What do you think?

Me: I’d go with Brady but that’s like choosing between herpes and syphilis

Nick Dogg: Are you sure because I think Eli is going to have a good game against the Redskins and the Chiefs have a good D.

Me: You could be right, I just think Eli sucks. You should be starting Kirk Cousins sucka ass.

Nick Dogg: I know, I tried to pick him up off waivers but I couldn’t get him.

Me: I told you to pick him up last week you idiot. Of course he’s not available after putting up 42 points last week!

Nick Dogg: I know I fucked up but what do you think should I play Eli or Brady?

Me: Like I said I’d go with Brady but it’s not like I think he’s going to go off. Play Eli if you want.

Nick Dogg: You and Billy both say go with Brady so I’ll go with Brady.

Me: OK, go eat mayonnaise

Nick Dogg: Fuck you

2 HOURS LATER

Nick Dogg: FUCK Eli is going off, I knew I should have fucking played his ass

Me: I’m still at work what’s going on?

Nick Dogg: He has fucking 3 TD’s already 24 points. Fuck I’m so pissed, I should have played him.

Me: my bad cuh but it’s not really I told you Brady would dominate

Nick Dogg: Nah fuck that you and Billy knew this would happen, you guys set me up

Me: Muhahahaha, why would you ever play the guy I tell you to!

Nick Dogg: I just thought 2 former champions would know what the fuck they were talking about, guess not.

Me: Not going with your gut is how you win Depodestas not Artests

That really happened pretty much verbatim. I think we all can tell what happened here. Monday Night Tom Brady and the Patriots were thrashed by the Chiefs as Nick Dogg predicted. The Smak Board for Compton Mike Jones and San Diego Spartans was epic down the stretch as Nick Dogg faded back into fantasy obscurity just as fast as Brady. The Spartans got the win and Nick Dogg has the Depodesta locked up! There were a couple other good games. Bluffwood Chinchillas got their 1st win over Super Ducks and put up an impressive 124 points. Cracka 2 Hi went Adrian Peterson, Ray Rice, Chris Brown and Latrell Sprewell on Nieve. Sorry cuh, that hurt me worse than it hurt you!

As epic as the chat was for Nick Dogg’s legendary vanquishment the most exciting game of the week was Brass Nucks breaking into the win column. They did it in grand fashion defeating undefeated wooo broncos in a 100.5-99 thriller. 0-3 over 3-0. In this league that doesn’t surprise me. Both winless teams were able to pick themselves up off the mat. Good games from both teams was predicted here last week. Both teams delivered. Let’s see if they can keep it up. Lizard next time you go golfing can you remind Kim to set her lineup before 10 AM. If you get home from golf at 10:45 it’s already too late. You didn’t have to give Folsom the cheap win, he would have won anyway. Not setting your lineup shows about as much dignity as Benedict Arnold.

It looked like we might have some early separation between the good teams and the also ran’s last week. In Week 4 the pack came back together. There are only 3 teams above .500 and those teams look like good bets to make the playoffs barring injury. It’s wide open for the rest of the league. You can’t call the 1-3 teams out of it. They are only a game out of a playoff spot. JP 33 Cent is the only undefeated team left after he put a whooping on AC Slater 110-67.5 in another lousy game of the week.

Sorry 2-2 teams. You probably only made the writeup briefly. You probably only made it if you beat Nick Dogg or lost. What can I say? You’re 2-2 that’s not newsworthy. This writeup has already gone long so no Week 5 preview. There is an obvious game of the week. Wooo Broncos vs JP 33 Cent. The Pipe was exposed last week let’s see if 33 Cent can rub him out.

There should be a show about our league!

The League has nothing on us. First off, they have an 8 team league. Pathetic. The writers of the show clearly aren’t football guys/gals. The last few seasons have all followed the same script. They start out strong. The show is about fantasy football and they have NFL players as guest stars. Then they do some ridiculous episode starring Seth Rogen that has nothing to do with football in any way. After that it seems they just go with dick and fart jokes. Uhhh, this is another meaningless rant to start a writeup. Point being, our league is way better than The League! It is so much fun being the commish of a league this active. I get a lot of requests for roster advice. Let me tell you…I haven’t given any of you good advice. I know what I’m doing, but I butter my bread with my draft. I don’t necessarily make great lineup decisions. I hope you all keep coming to me with your lineup questions. You might want to consider doing the opposite of what I say.

Week 5 was another great week in the West Covina Nuggets fantasy league. We finally had a game of the week that almost lived up to its potential. Undefeated JP 33 Cent was not able to overcome the Pipe. Wooo Broncos and 33 Cent are now 4-1. The outcome of this game would have been different had Percy Harvin not had 3 TD’s called back. I’m pretty sure that is the worst case of fantasy luck in history. It’s like when Chan Ho Park gave up 2 Grand Slams to Fernando Tatis in the same inning. Try breaking that record. If having 3 TD’s called back in a game isn’t the record…it should be! Defending Champ Folsom Goodness is back in the mix knocking off perianal powerhouse Cracka 2 Hi The Empire for the 2nd straight season. Both teams are now 3-2. This game got a little attention on social media.

Good Lord is that Nick Dogg back or what!?!? Bluffwood Chincillas crushed the last in the league in scoring Compton Mike Jones 104.5-62. Lepper Ethan Madden came from behind and pulled off a huge win over AC Slater 88-87. This game was tied after all the Sunday games. Stay tuned for Thursday scoring adjustments on this one. For now both teams are sitting at 2-3 and could easily go on a run. Brass Nucks was impressive for a 2nd straight week. Nucks destroyed San Diego Spartans. Their 126 points scored was the 3rd highest of the week. Nucks went against the advice of the commish and played Brian Quick who had a big game. The best game of the week was by far Super Ducks defeating Nieve World Peace 133.5-129.5. Nieve scored the 2nd most points of the week and it’s worth noting they are 3rd in the league in scoring. Peace is the strongest and unluckiest 2-3 team. For the 2nd straight week they ran face first into the biggest switch on the block. Quit trying to block them sticks with yo face cuh!

Unbelievably we are already at the midway point of our regular season in Week 6. I always wonder if we shouldn’t change the playoff format. I’ve put it up for vote a couple times and the voting was overwhelming to leave it the same. It won’t be up for vote this season. Just typing out loud. Every game in Week 6 looks like it will be competitive. The last 2 Artest winners are going to take it back to the Palace in Auburn Hills. Folsom Goodness is playing AC Slater in a game that should tell a lot of what these teams are made of. Defending Champion Goodness will already be lining up the classies for the Artest after party if he wins this one! Can 33 Cent or the Pipe get to 5 wins? Or 5 fingers in the Pipes case. We’ll see as JP takes on Herk and Big Kev takes on Lizard. The Lewis family collides once again as 3-2 Cracka 2 Hi The Empire takes on 3-2 Super Ducks in our co-game of the week. These website owning brothers may be battling for a playoff spot already.

By request the game of the week is a battle of 2 teams that were winless 2 weeks ago. Both teams could get to .500 this week. 2-3 Bluffwood Chinchillas is facing off against 2-3 Brass Nucks. This writer agrees that this is the most important game of this week. The loser will be at 2-4 while the winner may be tied for a playoff spot. These teams both have upside. Nucks has Peyton Manning. If they can get to .500 you have to look at them as a player. BTG always seems to find ways to hang around with teams like he has now. The Chinchillas normally finish in the middle the pack. They do have an Artest and an 11 win season. Not in the same year. If they get to 3-3 could they be in the mix to be the 2nd team to have more than 1 Artest? Bluffwood gets Ben Tate back to make their RB corps look like actual NFL players along with Forsett and Asiata. Fred Jackson off the bench isn’t a bad option either. That said Nucks has Peyton and 2 legit starting RB’s in Morris and Gore. This is a great matchup on paper but will likely be a terrible game since it’s the game of the week.

Nick Dogg 69 Nick Dogg bench 71

First and foremost, big shout out and thank you to our commissioner for the weekly write-ups. I think I speak for all of us when I say reading the write-ups is one of the highlights of our week.

This week’s write-up will start with a little rap I wrote

and it goes a lilts something like this…

KICK IT!!!!!!!

Nick Dogg, you are so bad at fantasy, why you gotta be such a hater???

you see this league is like the 92 dream team, and you cuh...you're just Christian Laettner

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1esrEb9p0Wc

I'm gonna steal a page from Zeke's book; you see a few years back he compared every member of this league to an NFL team. I thought it was creative and fun so I'm gonna give it a shot with a twist. Instead of comparing us to an NFL team, i will compare with the 92 dream team

Kevin / Charles Barkley

It’s this writer’s opinion that Barkley is the greatest NBA player to not win a ring. It’s also this writer’s opinion that Kevin is the best player in our league to be Artestless

Bryan / Magic Johnson

(in robot) I personally witnessed how hard you partied in college. And it's still an absolute shock that you didn't get that HIV

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-V0LlgOjDdg

Jeremy / Larry Bird

Both wear that #33, both are champions. Both look like country fed white boys that couldn't hurt a fly, but once you piss them off… fugedabatit!!!

Ed / Patrick Ewing

People don't know this but Ewing was born is Kingston Jamaica, right near the beach boyyyyy. So i think we all know what you 2 have in common… I'm talking about weed of course

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTOKJTRHMdw

Half Baked - Fuck You!

Gino / Michael Jordan

MJ = 5 MVPs… Gino = 5 Artest, simple as that. Until one of us gets a 2nd Artest, we're all just cartoon characters in space jam, except me, I get to be Bill Murray

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIV_9--awCI

Bill Murray - I don't play defense (Space Jam)

Daniel S / Chris Mullin

Just like Daniel, Mullin grew up a fat kid who got in great shape and ran marathons… Actually none of that is true. But, out of all of us, you did grow up in a city that is closest to the Bay area… HANCOCK!!!

Lizard / Karl Malone

Both fine players. But we have to remember that Karl played alongside the greatest assist man of all time. So one has to wonder how good Karl would have been without his significant other

Danny L / Scottie Pippen

You can never talk about Scottie without bringing up MJ. It's similar to Danny and Gino. Danny, like Pippen, has proven to be great player without the assistance of his big bro (just look at last weeks score). But until Danny wins an Artest, He will remain in the shadow

Billy / Clyde Drexler

Both not the best or the worst of the bunch, but just like Clyde I always find a way to glide myself into to the playoffs

Steve / John Stockton

Both prove that great things come in small packages. Both have hearts of lions. Steve has the most points scored on him but sits in a solid 5th spot in the league

Zeke / David Robinson

i think this one is the most obvious… GO NAVY!!! Thanks for the service brother, you make us all proud

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6b6CYHLWnyg

Hulk Hogan I am a Real American Lyrics

Nick Dogg / Christian Laettner

Oh Nick Dogg, you are the apple in this leagues eye, you complete us. look at the standing, six teams at 3 -3, four teams at 4-2 or vice versa, and 2 teams at 5 -1 or vice versa. Without you we are just plain lopsided, so thank you (pretty sure the rest of the dream team told Laettner similar things)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cB7A4gxGHA

700 pound man eating a jar of mayo has a heart attack

What a week in fantasy football with 9 teams reaching at least 90 points.

As foretold, the game of the week jinx struck with furious anger. 77-75, what a joke. Going into the Monday night game Nucks only needed 6 points from Gore to take the victory. Piece of cake right? Well not really… in away games this season gore is averaging 3.5 points a game

What turned out to be the game of the week was 33 cent vs Spartans. Only a man on his honeymoon would have enough confidence to say "all up in that ass Zeke" when he's only up by 24 points and he knows he has a Monday night date with Kaepernick. Great win Zeke

Goodness vs AC was a battle of who trusted 49ers WR more. But as it turns out, even if Goodness starts Crabtree, he still looses the game with zero options on the bench

And then there is the battle of the brothers. This game is like a rivalry game between 2 teams that are not one of your favorites... I don't give a shit who wins but its fun to watch. Ducks with the near perfect starting roster. The only points lost was starting Lacy over Bradshaw. But after a 27 point game from Lacy last week it would be hard to sit him. Even if the Empire could start their entire bench he still would not have caught up to 145

Lepper had the pick up of the week with Sanu but when Flaco throws for 5 TD's in the first quarter, things aren't looking to good. Broncos had the perfect starting roster and that’s with a 40 point killer Cam game on the bench, incredible!!!

So that wraps up all the games this week, oh wait… there's one more…

oh nick dogg, if Ray Rice's wife and Adrian Peterson's son had a child it would be you. Your bench had more points than your line up, AND YOUR BENCH HAD A BYE GAME HAHAHAHAHHA… That means you should have set your lineup and then told yourself "okay, now i'm gonna do the complete opposite".

If I had to describe next weeks games in 2 words, those 2 words would be...

1. Swift

2. Brave

We have 6 teams with 3-3 records. Only 2 of them will be playing each other this week. After this week is completed we will either start seeing the separation of who will or will not make playoffs or everybody will be tied and a whole new season will start

BTG VS 33

Looks like I beat you in the battle of the Buffalo Bills RBs, After 6 weeks you have to sit C.J. when Fred Jackson is looking like one of the best flex spot fill-ins in the league. If Reggie Wayne is able to steal back some Luck points, I might have a chance. I have a feeling this will be a close game!

The Empire vs AC Slater

Bye week bug has bitten Gino this week with McCoy, especially considering the week he just had and Sproles being injured. I think AC will need more than a bug bite to win this game, the empires losing streak ends at 2

Compton vs Ducks

Just when we think it can’t get any worse for Nick Dogg, Cruz gets injured and is out for the season. Probably wouldn’t have mattered considering the ducks have scored 279 points in the last 2 weeks. Ducks take this one with another convincing win

Broncos vs Goodness

With Bryan also bitten by the bug, coupled with a week bench, it’s gonna be tough for him to win. Looks like Killer is back in the starting lineup along with 4 WR and just 1 RB. With the Rams having a stingy run D (which will make Lynch have a less than par game) and Crabtree finally breaking out of his shell, I have Folsom winning this by upset. This obviously means that all teams will have at least 2 losses and my 11-1 season record holds strong. Time to pop the Champaign like the 72 Dolphins!

Spartans vs Lepper

Lepper sitting Stafford??? Never thought I would see the day but I can’t blame Kurt with Stafford’s best target, megatron, out with injury. With all the weapons Zeke has (and having McFadden on the bench who has emerged as Raiders top RB over MJD), I have the Spartans starting next week with a 4-3 record

Nuck vs NWP (game of the week)

Sorry Nucks for giving you GOW 2 weeks in a row. But with a “must win game” for the 2 of you, similar projections and the fact that I truly have no prediction who will win… I had no choice. Usually the pros predict Manning 1 and Wilson somewhere around 8. This week they have them at 3 and 5. Too close to call

I know I know, long ass write up. I don’t get to do them too often so when I get the chance I make the best of it. I want to conclude with how I won my game last week

With Brees on a bye week, I had Locker as my starter which Nick Dogg was aware of. Around 1am on Sunday I checked out my roster just in case I slept in on Sunday. I saw that Locker was out so after carefully reviewing my options, I decided to go between Bridgewater or Whitehurst, I finally decided on Bridgewater.

The next morning before the games, Nick being the good friend he is, called me to let me know that Locker was out. I thanked him and told him who I was considering and who I went with. He said “yea, don’t go with Whitehurst, he’s garbage”

I hung up the phone and thought to myself, did Nick just expose Whitehurst? I believe he did!!! So of course I made the last second change to Whitehurst who scored 11. Bridgewater only 5. I ended up winning by 2

All Bunched Up Again!

Good to be back at the helm. Excellent work last week BTG! That will be hard to follow but the show must go on. Week 7 was a rather uneventful week in the land of the Nuggets. One notable upset in Week 7 was Folsom Goodness over Wooo Broncos! With the Pipe going down on Folsom we find the standings in their normal place. 7 teams within 1 game of 1st Place! AC Slater lost an exciting game that came down to the wire. BTG saw his Bluffwood Chincillas put up a Georgie like effort despite his amazing debut to the world of sports writing. AC and BTG aren’t out of it yet but they need to go on a run now. Lizard and Nucks are pretty much in the grave getting dirt shoveled on them. The standings are so close that last week’s games didn’t mean too much. This seems like the perfect week for a mid-season breakdown of each team! We’ll start at the top.

Wooo Broncos- 5-2, 727 PF, 103.9 PPG , GM - Kevin M aka Big Kev aka The Pipe. Big Kev’s team looks the same as it does every year. The early draft choices are solid as a rock and the rest of the team is a bunch of pill popping ponies. The Pipe has certainly been hard to beat all season. I’m sure the Pipe has been beaten all season as well. Male enhancement jokes aside Big Kev may not be as invincible as he looks. Wooo Broncos has Jonas Gray on their team. He is owned in .01% of all ESPN leagues. That may mean that the only fantasy GM’s that own him are Kevin, his high school coach and his mother. This team has a glaring weakness at RB and could use a trade. Steve Smith may be a smart player for this GM to look to move. The forecast looks bright for the Broncos but to crown The Pipe now may be premature.

Super Ducks- 5-2, 707.5 PF, 101 PPG, GM – Daniel Lewis aka Super Duck aka Errrr. After a terrible start the team formally known as Errrr Dodgers and Team Brady is right back on track. The Ducks scored 79.5 and 74 points the first 2 weeks. Eddie Lacy and AJ Green were struggling and still haven’t really emerged. Philip Rivers has put this team on his back. If Lacy and Green get going look out! When Super Ducks are on top of their game they are as good as any team in the league. They showed that in Week 5 beating Nieve World Peace in a game of the year candidate 133.5-129.5. Errrr followed that up by dropping 145.5 on his big bro. On the downside they returned to under 80 point form in Week 7. Luckily That Nick Dogg was on the schedule for that! Under 80 point performances will get you killed in the playoffs in this league. This Errrr of a GM knows that better than anyone. This team is deep at RB and WR. I have inside information that this GM is willing to wheel and deal.

JP 33 Cent- 5-2, 658 PF, 94 PPG, GM - Jeremy Patton aka JP aka 33 Cent aka 33 aka Cent. Every season there is a team that sneaks into the playoffs with a “strong defense”. After a dominant 4-0 start it seemed that wouldn’t be the case for Cent. Now it seems it might damn be the case. That team often wins the Artest however. Last year’s champion Folsom is an example. JP 33 Cent boasts a strong “defense” this year. I’m not talking about the D/ST they play in the games. Their opponents don’t score much. It’s that intimidating, cuh! 33 Cent’s opponents are averaging 81.5 PPG. That’s barely good enough to beat Nick Dogg on a consistent basis. Getting Andrew Luck in the 3rd Round was the key for JP. Jamal Charles is back and healthy and Dez Bryant has been solid all season. JP looks to be set up well for a playoff run but like all GM’s he has his issues. This is just about fantasy football or this writeup would be much longer than it already is. Spiller is effectively out for the year and Harvin was traded to the Jets which might be worse than being out for the year. Trading a guy like Sproles and/or Romo to fill those voids could put 33 Cent over the top.

Nieve World Peace- 4-3, 721 PF, 103 PPG, GM – Steven M aka Nieve aka World Peace aka Rice Peterson. I’m probably out of wife beater, child abuser and pedophile jokes but here goes. If 33 Cent has a strong “defense” Nieve’s “defense” is like last year’s Cowboys. So far Nieve’s opponents have scored 101.7 PPG. It’s tough to win many games like that making World Peace’s 4-3 record the most impressive of the group. If Nieve’s opponents scored like 33 Cent’s they would leave every game feeling like they played Rice Peterson. Not World Peace. Nieve has been on both sides of the switch for sure. They are also very consistent having scored under 89 points only once. Much like the behavior of Adrian Peterson’s sons there is room for improvement here! Peace has the 7th and 8th ranked QB’s in Russell Wilson and Jay Cutler. Wilson and Golden Tate have had the best games of their careers in recent weeks. If Nieve can pull of a trade where he sells high he will be mouthleaving his opponents no matter how many points they score!

Folsom Goodness- 4-3, 660 PF, 94.3 PPG, GM – Bryan Folsom aka Champ aka needs a more permanent aka. With another auto-drafted team Folsom is right back in there at 4-3. We don’t really have a good nickname as a group for this GM. I just noticed that. We’ll need to figure something out on that front. This team could have tough sledding ahead with Tannehill at QB. The Dolphins play some tough D’s the next few weeks. Alex Smith is never a much better option in fantasy. You don’t want a game manager calling signals for your fantasy team. They also play 5-2 Super Ducks the last 2 weeks of the season. Folsom Goodness may want to consider trading Cobb or even Foster to secure 2 or 3 quality starters if the right deal is out there.

American Infadels- 4-3, 633 PF, 88.9 PPG, GM – Ezekial Clifton aka Zeke, aka Herk. Breaking news from the middle of the sea has rocked the West Covina Nuggets fantasy league. In a shocking turn of events former hero of the common man and GM of the San Diego Spartans Herk has changed his team name to the American Infadels. I can only imagine this name is a play on his heelish dealings in this league. Perhaps it’s part of a larger plot? Will we find out? Only Herk knows for sure! The newly coined Infadels have overcome the Adrian Peterson fiasco nicely. I’m sure most of his fantasy owners can’t say the same. No matter the name of the team this GM is not able to be as active for obvious reasons. That said, I have had communications with the Infadel and have it under good authority to say he may be looking to make a trade or 2. I think he’d have to be willing to move Le’Veon Bell or Jordy Nelson to find a dance partner.

AC Slater- 3-4, 641 PF, 91.6 PPG GM – Daniel Sarmiento aka AC aka Slater. AC Slater’s chances of making the playoffs this season are fading. They may be about as good as a real high school football team like Bayside’s would have been. Can you imagine? Remember their locker room? There was like 8 players on the team! Mario Lopez is 5’5’’ 135 lbs and he’s your star player? AC better turn into the Bayside wrestler to salvage Slater’s season. They’ll have to start their role this week against top dog Wooo Broncos and follow that up with a game against the aforementioned Infadels. I’m not sure when Josh Gordon comes back but he is a great trade chip for one of the 5-2 teams. AC may have less time to wait on Josh Gordon than Slater did on Jesse Spano. The Show Girls version.

Bluffwood Chinchillas- 3-4, 615.5 PF, 88 PPG, GM – Billy Vitale aka BTG aka newly published author. You’re writuep was far better than your season has been. The injury to Ben Tate really turned the RB situation into a revolving door. Drew Brees struggles and Ben Tate’s injury really hurt any kind of trade value they might have. I can see Gronk possibly having some trade value. I think the best thing to do is hope Brees and Tate get hot and you can run the table. The only positive is that Brees is a player capable of doing that for you.

Brass Nucks- 2-5, 648 PF, 92.6 PPG, GM - Ed Nucks aka Nucks, mostly just Nucks these days. Another tough season. There were 2 or 3 games that could have gone your way including a .5 point loss. If I were you I’d probably look to trade Peyton Manning. It might be fun just to made a big trade in your spot. As I’m typing this I see you picked up Tre Mason. That was a good pickup. I was trying to pick him up.

Lepper Ethan Madden- 2-5, 633.5 PF, 90.5 PPG, GM – Kurtis Lepper aka Lizard. I’m pretty sure this GM hasn’t read 1 writeup. They started out hot and looked good. The Calvin Johnson injury really this team.

Compton Mike Jones- 1-6, 506 PF, 72.3 PPG, GM – nick ponomaroff aka That/The Nick Dogg. The best for last. Ahhhh Nick Dogg, at least I’m burying this at the bottom of the writeup. Not that it matters. You earned this slot with your 1-6 record. That’s actually all I got for you since you’re my opponent this week. Sorry guys. I’m sure they’ll be another time.

I have to admit I didn’t think we would get this bunched up again this season. I thought Kevin and Jeremy would pull away. I also didn’t think there would be 9 teams within 2 games of 1st. If you’re 2 games out or more you just have to keep Bo-lieving! Maybe make a trade, play spoiler. Win a game or 2 down the stretch. Next week we’ll have a lot better idea of who sits where in the playoff race. There are a lot of important games next in Week 8. I’ll leave you with a riddle. There is something unique about this writeup. What is it?

Wild Week 8!

Taking a look at the slate of games it was easy to see that Week 8 had nothing but great matchups. I found it imperative not to name a game of the week. That strategy worked out as there was only 1 stinker of a game. Even that game was historic as our top scoring team Wooo Broncos was able to muster only 44 points in a loss to AC Slater. It was a good thing for Slater that he played Big Kev because every other team in the league would have taken a switch to that 75 point score. 44 points for Big Kev! Where do I start? Honestly I’d rather not. I’ve written enough about Big Kev’s Pipe these days. The Broncos fell from the top spot in the league to 5th. They were tied for the best record leading the league in scoring. That kind of drop may have the Pipe needing to see a doctor.

It’s been a normal year for Compton Mike Jones but after last season Nick Dogg surely expected better. He didn’t get it last week despite scoring a season high 112 points. He still lost by 36.5 points to a far superior fantasy GM, sports fan and overall human being. Bluffwood Chinchillas showed signs of life putting a whooping on Lepper Ethan Madden 138-100.5. Has BTG been laying in the weeds this whole time waiting to strike? The 138 points suggest it’s at least a possibility. He’s done it before. Oh Muh Gawd! Did Folsom Goodness have a game or what? Even though Herk and the newly named American Infidels had a decent game with 99 points this beating still reminds me of when Undertaker threw Mankind off the Hell in a Cell. Or when Deandre Jordan dunked on Brandon Knight. There were 3 huge scores in Week 8 but I’d have to look back through the archives to tell you the last time a team scored 159!

With so many big matchups it would have been hard to name a game of the week but if there were it probably would have been JP 33 Cent vs Nieve World Peace. These teams did not put up some of the gaudy as others but this would have been an excellent game of the week. JP ended up getting the win 100-93.5. They are now alone in 1st place with a 6-2 record. I’m starting to notice a pattern for Nieve and it isn’t good. It seems Peace is one the tougher non-playoff teams every season. With a 4-4 record Nieve has work to do to avoid that again this season. The upset of the week was easily Brass Nucks over Super Ducks 109-105. The Ducks haven’t gotten many losses where they scored well. They have a tough schedule ahead and may be facing an uphill battle to make the playoffs. Nucks can only seem to beat top teams but at 3-5 isn’t quite dead yet.

Week 9 looks to be almost as good as week 8, however the field is starting the thin out. Like last week there won’t be a game of the week but there are plenty of big matchups. Cracka 2 Hi The Empire vs Wooo Broncos, JP 33 Cent vs Super Ducks and Folsom Goodness vs Bluffwood Chinchillas are worthy of being on NBC’s Sunday football. Should be another fun week!

Blockbuster!

Our league may have just witnessed the biggest trade in its history. Nieve World Peace and Cracka2Hi The Empire pulled off a huge deal involving the top and 3rd ranked fantasy RB’s. c2h also picked up Nieve’s backup QB Jay Cutler and TE Owen Daniels. Nieve got Jason Witten and RB Carlos Hyde to complete the deal. On paper this works for both teams. Cracka2Hi gives up DeMarco Murray who is probably the fantasy MVP of the season to this point. In Forte the Empire gets a RB who is hardly a downgrade if any at all. The Empire also replaces the injured Nick Foles with Jay Cutler. Nieve does lose a good QB in Cutler but keeps his best QB Russell Wilson. Wilson has already had his bye week. Nieve upgrades at TE acquiring Jason Witten.

We need more trading in our league! This trade should show you guys how it’s done. Nieve and I both gave up our best players. Nieve didn’t really need Cutler. I didn’t really want to give up Witten. That’s what you have to do to make a deal. You’re always going to have to give up something you’d rather keep to make a big deal. As this article is being written another big trade has gone through. Brass Nucks trades blazing hot QB Ben Roethlisberger to the Super Ducks for overachieving RB Amhad Bradshaw. This trade also makes sense for both teams but bye weeks are the key here. The Super Ducks pick up the hottest QB in the NFL just in time for Phillip Rivers bye week. On the other hand Brass Nucks is riddled with bye weeks and picks up a RB who is also on a bye week. Nucks needs a win this week but I have to imagine getting Bradshaw on a bye week was a helluva of a lot better than anything else he could have gotten for the expendable Big Ben. Props to both GM’s for making the trade!

Last week I wrote that Week 9 had as good of matchups as Week 8. Well like normal that wasn’t the case. There weren’t very many good game in Week 9. The best game of the week by far was Folsom Goodness continuing their impressive run with a 121-114 victory over Bluffwood Chinchillas. I think our league has more games where the highest scoring team of the week beats the 2nd highest scoring team of the week. That happened again here and was a huge blow for Bluffwood who fell to 4-5. Folsom is now 6-3 and 3 points back from being the top scoring team in the league. Can Folsom repeat? What would a non-c2h GM repeating mean? Back to back with auto-drafted teams no less? This season may be the first time we’ve seen The Empire’s dominance of this league challenged.

This writeup would be incomplete without acknowledging the impressive 7-2 start by 33 Cent. It is a rare for a team to sit alone in 1st place at this time of the season! Cent is another team with a strong chance to pick up their 2nd Artest!

Week 9 may not have lived up the occasion but for once The Pipe did. Big Kev knocked off Cracka2Hi 107-83.5 in a game he really needed to have. Brass Nucks kept their season alive and handed a game Nick Dogg another in a long line of losses. AC Slater moved to 5-4 with a huge win over American Infadels 103.5-66.5. The Infadels didn’t show up for this and their season may have set sail along with Herk. Nieve World Peace got crushed by bye weeks and suffered one of the most disappointing losses of the season getting smacked up by lowly Lizard Ethan Madden 94-64.5. Had Nieve won this game they’d be in good shape for a playoff spot. Now at 4-5 he’ll need his new additions to help him win out.

Week 10 features the return of the game of the week! That’s probably not worth a ! The game of the week is important but as we all know it’s a jinx to that game. This week there is certainly a game worthy. 4-5 Brass Nucks scratched and clawed their way to respectability after an 0-3 start. Cracka2Hi The Empire looked to be dominant early this season but can fall to .500 with a loss which would equal the same record as Nucks. If both teams end up 5-5, saying they took different paths to get there would be an enormous understatement. Good luck Ed, but I hope you lose! AC Slater and Bluffwood Chinchillas is the co-game of the week as 4-5 Bluffwood Chinchillas who started 0-3 and 5-4 AC Slater are in roughly the same positions playoff wise as Nucks and c2h. It wouldn't surprise me to see all 4 of these teams sitting at 5-5 after this week.

Separation!

First off all apologies for the late writeup. I know many of you look forward to this every week. I normally look forward to writing it. This week was a little different. There aren’t many weeks I have to pick myself up off the mat and lick my wounds after a league low 63 point performance. With that said away we go! With the exception of 1 team Week 10 saw a lot of big scores. Most teams seem to be peaking at the right time. This is especially true about our 5 teams at top. I remember writing earlier this season that I thought we might see some teams pull away from the pack this year. It looks like that has happened. We normally have 4-5 teams fighting for a playoff spot all the way to the end. There are currently 5 teams with a winning record and it seems unlikely that any team outside of those 5 will make it in.

The most consistent team all season has been JP 33 Cent. JP put up his highest point total of the season beating hapless Compton Mike Jones 132.5 – 101.5 to move to 8-2. Even Nick Dogg was able to put up 100 this week! JP has clinched a playoff spot and potential playoff opponents should be fearful after the 132.5 points this week. Wooo Broncos has been in 2nd or 1st place most of the season. Big Kev was not as impressive in Week 10 but still scored a win late Monday Night over American Infadels 93.5 – 89. The Pipe moves to 7-3 and barring a complete loss of blood flow will no doubt claim a playoff spot. The top 2 spots appear to be locked up and we have 3 teams sitting at 6-4 that are most likely battling it out for the last 2 playoff berths. None of the 3 teams have an easy road so things may still heat up.

AC Slater probably has the hardest road to the playoffs after securing his 6th win in a great game 117 – 106 over Bluffwood Chinchillas, all but ending BTG’s hopes for a 2nd Artest. Slater plays Nieve World Peace this week. Nieve is one of the tougher teams in the league despite his .500 record. He showed this last week with a big 119 – 86.5 win over Folsom Goodness who had been the hottest team in the league. AC then ends his regular season with a matchup against 5-5 Brass Nucks who has had one of the gutsiest seasons in our leagues history. This team was dead and buried and looking like competition for That Nick Dogg to “win” the Depodesta. Didn’t happen. Nucks clawed and scratched their way to .500 with a 110 – 63 shellacking over yours truly. It doesn’t look like Nucks will get into the playoffs but to be on the outside of the bubble is impressive considering where they were at most of the season. Props to Nucks for hanging in there and fighting back!

That brings us to the game of the week which is really a 2 part special! We all know that our playoff format features 2 week matchups. Our last 2 6-4 teams Supers Ducks and Folsom Goodness are going to get that started early. The Ducks bounced back nicely to score a 133 – 114 win over Lepper Ethan Madden. Folsom missed out on big opportunity with his loss to Nieve. Due to a schedule anomaly these 2 teams are playing in Week 11 and Week 12 essentially starting their playoffs now. These are the 2 highest scoring teams so unless Slater can win out mathematically they are both in with a split and our playoffs would be set. Our 3, 5 -5 teams Nieve World Peace, Brass Nucks and Cracka2Hi the Empire can only hope one of these teams destroys the others season with a sweep of this late season double header. I can’t imagine what it would take for 4 -6 Bluffwood Chinchillas or American Infadels to sneak in.

What writeup would be complete without an update on the darling of our league That Nick Dogg. Compton Mike Jones is quietly having a historic season! We have never had a winless team in this league meaning Nick Dogg is fighting for the worst record in league history. The Depodesta has been his since the Eli Manning/ Tom Brady debacle in Week 4. As some of us know Nick Dogg and his Braves pathetic seasons have not stopped him from taking to social media like he is some kind of boss. He clearly thinks he’s a bad man! He has shown all kinds of class as well telling people to “fuck off” left and right completely ignoring the fact that Facebook is not only for our fantasy league. It’s also for people like our parents, siblings, respected authority figures, ect. Congrats Nick Dogg. You make yourself look like a complete hypocrite and idiot every time you post. It’s completely obvious that you are not smart enough to comprehend that posting the F word hundreds of times on other peoples wall for their family to see is completely unacceptable behavior for a 35 year old man. Telling someone to "fuck off" does not mean you won a debate. It means like most children you aren't smart to resort to anything but foul language. You may not know this but most adults do. You also make all of us look like complete ass holes for being your friend. Then again that’s why we love you! I think we are all rooting for Nick Dogg to hit that magical mark of 11 losses. I know I am!

I know Week 11 does not seem like an early time to have a clear playoff picture but as we all know for this league it really is. We have 1 teams that has clinched in 33 Cent. Big Kev is in with a win. Folsom Goodness and Super Ducks control their own destiny and likely only need a split provided they keep putting up big scores. AC Slater needs a little help and mostly likely need to win out. Anyone else would need a lot of help. It looked like we had some really good teams and not some so good teams at the start of the season. It looks like that has damn been the case! Even without the chaotic playoff race it should still be a fun close to the regular season!

ED is 420 for life!!!

Article written and edited by Billy Vitale.

That’s right, even in fantasy Ed is a 420 man

I did some stat digging and put together a table showing where we stand in the greatest fantasy football league of ALL TIME!!!

S = Seasons

Team- S- W- L- T- W%

Gino- 10- 74- 44- 1- .626

Kevin- 7- 50- 32- 1- .602

Billy- 10- 70- 49- 0- .588

Jeremy- 10- 62- 56- 1- .525

Danny L- 10- 62- 57- 0- .521

Bryan- 4- 24- 23- 0- .510

Steve- 5- 30- 29- 0- .508

Zeke- 5- 33- 37- 1- .471

Kurt- 10- 50- 69- 1- .466

Nick Dogg- 9- 48- 58- 1- .453

Daniel S- 5- 25- 34- 0- .424

Ed- 5- 24- 34- 1- .420

First of all I want to thank that Nick Dogg. You see when I heard that Charles Barkley was fasting until the Lakers won I thought to myself, what a great idea!!! Nobody knows this but I too was fasting until nick dogg won his second game. I WAS STARVING! But as we all know, when the lions only score 6 points in their game it's almost impossible to not get the W when playing Kurt.

Cracka keeps his slim playoff hopes alive with win over the Infidels. Zeke needs a big win in week 12 to keep him out of sucka ass bracket

For the second straight week I went up against the highest scoring player, Rodgers last week with 50 and Gray this week with 49. Congratulations to Kevin for his 4th straight playoff appearance. if he makes it next year he will tie Gino for the record for most playoff appearances in a row

33 cent survives a bit of the "bye week" scare with a win over the extremely unlucky brass nucks who lost Bradshaw early in his game. If Bradshaw stays healthy Ed has a shot at the playoffs. But then he wouldn't have been 420

Nieve WP, who now has his eyes set on the Melo cup, had a disappointing showing with his loss to AC. AC ,who had the Artest 2 seasons ago, holds his own destiny to be a 2 time champ

with both teams at 6-4, the most important game last week was between Folsom Godness and the Super Ducks with the loser almost surly kissing his artest hopes good bye. With one eye on the tv and one on the artest(both in his living room), Bryan was able to take the victory. Danny with a very nick doggisk starting and benched line up

while talking about next weeks games, lets remind ourselves how we all did the last time we played the teams we are about to play

Bluffwood Chinchillas (BTG)

(4-7)Billy Vitale

71

Cracka2Hi The Empire (c2h)

(6-5)Eugene Lewis

113.5

With Brown on a bye week I don't see history repeating itself. I’m happy to say that you and I will face each other in the finals for the melo cup

American Infidels (USA)

(4-7)Ezekial Clifton

86

Compton Mike Jones (TND)

(2-9)nick ponomaroff

78

zeke is luckier than a boy at prom getting to play nick dogg twice in 1 season. Unfortunately for Zeke, because of points for, he’ll end up in the sucka ass tournament

JP 33cent (33)

(9-2)Jeremy Patton, Jeremy Patton

87.5

Lepper Ethan Madden (L)

(3-8)Kurtis Lepper

64.

After week 6 I popped the bubbly because my 11-1 season record stood strong yet again. It’s a good thing too because Jeremy will finish 10-2

Nieve World Peace (NWP)

(5-6)Steven M

89

Wooo Broncos! (Wooo)

(8-3)Kevin M

119.5

Gray will not have repeat performance but will still be productive. Richardson will not benefit from Bradshaw injury. I see Daniel Herron with more snaps by the 2nd half for the colts. i have Kevin with a convincing victory with NWP having a low scoring game

Folsom Goodness (FUPA)

(7-4)Bryan Folsom

107

Super Ducks (SD)

(6-5)daniel lewis

68

Beating this same team twice is never easy to do. Roster mistake will be fixed. Super ducks take the victory and the last spot in the playoffs at the same time

AC Slater (AC)

(7-4)Daniel Sarmiento

87

Brass Nucks (Soda)

(5-6)Ed nucks

86.5

Gordon's return will not be enough for Daniel to slip into the playoffs. Nucks bad luck ends here. We might see a rematch of these two face off in the Melo race

So if my predictions are right this will be are 2014 post season

Artest

33 Cent,Wooo Broncos,Folsom Goodness,Supper Ducks

Melo

AC,C2H,Nucks, BTG

Suck Ass

NWP, Zeke, Lepper, Nick Dogg

If history repeats itself our post season will look like this…

Artest

33 Cent, Wooo Broncos, Folsom Goodness,AC

Melo

Ducks, C2H, Nucks, NWP

Suck Ass

BTG, Zeke, Lepper, Nick Dogg
