2017 Centers

1. Ethan Pocic 6'5⅞" 316 21 LSU 77

Three-year starter who can play all three interior positions on the offensive line. 1st team All-SEC honors last season. Has the toughness and smarts you need as a Center. Effective as a run blocker, especially in space. Overall good body control. Needs to add overall strength to be better matched against true Nose Tackles.

2. Pat Elflein 6'2⅜" 299 22 Ohio State 75

Three-year starter has shown he can play all three interior positions on the Offensive line. Has an impressive 3 All-Big Ten awards. Insane work ethic and will be a character plus for any team. Wrestled for four years in high school which shows with his hands on the inside. Has no problem holding his blocks once he is engaged. Good in pull blocking schemes. Thick lower body and good overall play strength. He does not have the best footwork which does limit him on second level blocks and against the blitz at times.

3. Cameron Tom 6'3⅝" 291 21 Southern Miss 68

Three-year starter who has played every position on the Offensive line except for Left Tackle. He has been the leader of this line for the past four years. He has good length and knows how to use it. He will need to add bulk. Needs to improve footwork and hand placement as he is only average in both run and pass blocking.

4. Tyler Orlosky 6'2⅞" 293 24 West Virginia 65

Three-year starter and All-Big Ten recipient last season. He has good strength and plays with the attitude you want to see in an Offensive lineman. Compact first punch and has strong hands to hold onto blocks longer than normal. Lateral movement is his biggest weakness, his short arms limit him even more in this regard. Typical phone booth Center.

5. Jay Guillermo 6'2⅞" 307 22 Clemson 60

Two-year starter. Below average in run and pass blocking. Probably limited to competing at Center only. Footwork needs substantial improvement. Seems to make good effort at initial block, then loses overtime.

6. Jon Toth 6'4⅞" 306 22 Kentucky 59

Four-year starter and All-SEC honors last season. Good use of hands in both pass and run blocking. Knows how to use his strengths to the fullest. Weakness is his lower body: tight hips, heavy feet, poor re direction. Is limited to the phone booth. Will need to find the right scheme in order to be effective.

7. Chase Roullier 6'4" 312 23 Wyoming 55

Three-year starter. Can play center along with both guard positions. Well-built lower body. Good height, however he has short arms. Did not impress too much at the combine. Seems to have the motor and is a good run blocker.

8. Kyle Fuller 6'5" 307 25 Baylor 51

Three-year starter with good size, strength and speed. He has long arms at 34 inches. Best in pass protection. Not the best athlete. He fit Baylor's system well, and if in the right system at the next level who could prove to be useful.

9. Chad Wheeler 6'7" 306 23 USC 49

Good sized lineman who is at his best in run blocking. Shows the ability to climb to the second level with ease. Good in space. Not as strong as a pass blocker. He will have trouble dominating his one on one assignments at the next level. Has injury concerns.

10. Deyshawn Bond 6'2" 287 23 Cincinnati 45

Four year starter. He has good upper body strength and quickness for the position. He has the strength to hold up against bull rushes. Good enough quickness to make a difference in a zone blocking scheme. Undersized for the position, he can be beat by length. Size limitations could hurt his draft stock.

11. J.J. Dielman 6'5" 309 23 Utah 44

Three year starter with NFL bloodlines. Played Right Tackle up until last year where he missed over half of the season with a foot injury. Is athletic for the position and plays well in run support. Able to take good angles and get to the second level rather easily. Does not have the strength yet he will need to play at the next level. Short arms will limit where he can play in the NfL.

12. Sean Harlow 6'4" 303 22 Oregon State 43

Four year starter at tackle. Short arms are forcing him to move inside. He is going to struggle against power rushers. Slow feet, poor hand technique. Not much to see here.
